The Top Ladies of Distinction (TLOD) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and serving communities through various philanthropic and service-oriented activities. TLOD was founded in 1964 in Texas by four African American women, Hortense McClinton, Ozie B. Gonzaque, Frankie L. White, and Bettye M. Jackson, with the aim of addressing the social, educational, economic, and cultural needs of underprivileged individuals and communities.
